Here at FYidoctors, we truly believe in the transformative power of vision. Unfortunately, many Canadians can’t afford to visit an eye care professional or purchase much needed eyewear. As a result, serious vision issues often go undiagnosed and untreated, making an already difficult life all that much harder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That’s why this past fall we teamed up with VSP (a leader in eye care benefits), as well as Buck Consultants (a Xerox Company) and the United Way, to provide a mobile eye care clinic offering free eye exams and glasses to Torontonians in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We hit the streets of the GTA in a 40-foot-long, state-of-the-art mobile eye care clinic. Over a three-day period we were able to help over 150 Toronto residents get access to no-cost eye exams and glasses\u2014with our very own Dr. Gary Gimpel joining a team of optometrists from FYidoctors and Vision Source who volunteered their time and expertise to help make it all possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
