FYidoctors | Visique Enhancing Life Foundation: Raising Funds to Support Communities Across Canada
FYidoctors and Visique have re-envisioned our philanthropic efforts to expand the scope of our fundraising initiatives. In 2019, the FYidoctors | Visique Enhancing Life Foundation was created with the focus to support charities that enhance life for Canadians. While our Foundation remains committed to providing children in need across Canada with vision care, its scope now includes various charitable organizations that aim to improve their communities for patients of all ages. Our mission is to share the passion and expertise for eye care collectively held by the FYidoctors and Visique teams to spark equal levels of enthusiasm towards other humanitarian initiatives.
The FYidoctors | Visique Enhancing Life Foundation has begun to encompass a diverse number of social causes throughout the country. By collaborating with non-profit and socially responsible corporate charitable organizations, we have the opportunity to reach larger populations that require financial aid and solutions to a variety of issues. To remedy these social symptoms, establishing a wide network of like-minded, benevolent individuals and groups can make a world of difference when raising and allocating funds to equally deserving organizations.
We have constructed an ambitious, yet reachable goal for 2019: to raise $200,000 in donations. October is our inaugural Enhancing Life Month where clinics throughout the country are raising money to support various charities that improve the lives of Canadians from coast to coast. On Enhancing Life Day, October 24, clinics get to raise money for the causes they care about most. Some of the charities we will be supporting on October 24 are: Ovarian Cancer Canada, Habitat for Humanity, Alzheimer Societies, Regina Humane Society, Children’s Wish, Bowls of Hope, Calgary Drop-in Centre and many more! Contact the FYidoctors or Visique clinic nearest you to learn which charity they are supporting and how you can participate in Enhancing Life Day.
Whether you are a charitable organization looking to get involved with our Foundation or simply a person who would like to lend a helping hand, you can make a difference by either contacting us or easily donating to FYidoctors | Visique Enhancing Life Foundation online or by phone! We’re also raising funds right here on social media! For every new Like on the FYi or Visique Facebook or Twitter page(s), we will donate $1 to the Foundation to give back to the communities we live in and serve.
