Campbell River is well known for its sense of community spirit. This is why the Campbell River and District Chamber of Commerce recently unveiled their “FUTURE15 Awards,” a chance to celebrate the volunteer contributions of professionals between the ages of 19 and 45. The inaugural awards recognized the dedication of 15 winners (taken from a pool of 52 nominees), which included a research scientist, a community manager, a local artist and even a Member of Parliament.
